These work so well outside in the cold and/or rain (my pup doesn't like his feet wet nor cold). I love the grip at the top on the part that hugs the leg, as well as the extra velcro strap that gives extra grip!

While our intent was to take a few fun holiday pictures with the socks, they can do more. They will help your dog keep from slipping on flooring. They will also serve well to cover itchy feet and minimize munching during allergy season. These fit fairly true to size if you follow the chart and measurements for your pet. You should be sure to cut your dog's nails first (Dremel to keep from catching on the socks) or they may not fit well. I like that the height seems appropriate to the size of the dog. The Velcro strap is also a bonus. (even though we didn't put them on for the picture) This will absolutely help the socks stay on and we have used them when the dog is moving about the house in the socks. That said, they are not likely durable enough for a very active dog. We tried playing ball inside in these and after 2 throws, his nails (they are kept trimmed and smoothed) poked right through. These are also NOT durable enough for outdoor wear. They are socks. Your socks aren't meant for that either. The patterns and designs offered are cute and the price is fair. If your fairly calm, indoor dog needs socks, or you want cute picture props, we recommend these.

After failed attempts with other socks I found these.. I purchased one set of 4 for the rainy season to lessen cleaning of the paws and allergy issues. These are the most awesome, easiest to put on wrap velcro strap socks. Easy for your pet to get used to and walk with confidence. I feel they are durable, comfortable and keep the paws dry unless your in dewy grass or puddles. Even if that happens clean paws, happy you! I even purchased a pair for indoor use as allergies get him just before allergy shots are due. Easy to wash and hang dry. Deters him from wanting to bite at his paws. I don't leave them on all day or even hours. Worth the value and comes in adorable packaging.

I liked the socks but only indoors and only in the color black. The pink ones got dirty and were unable to get them clean again (looked dingy after only one wash)

Needed the dog to stop licking a paw incessantly. We were skeptical but this actually worked for 24 hours. She tried for a few moments to get it off but the snaps held. She lost interest and went about her day, including a walk w one sock.The next day she managed to chew threw the velcro and free her paw. So we went through a couple of the socks that week. Not perfect but definitely more effective than a wrap/tape for her to chew off in a million pieces
