Had one of these years ago and this one seems just as good. It is very sturdy and, for the price, offers great value for money. Initially couldn't decide between this one and the competition one which I have used before but ultimately plumped for this one as it is a little more robust and weight is not really a consideration.

It’s a bottle cage. But a very well made, solid one that holds a bottle securely and looks durable. Designed for mountain bikes so should take a battering, within reason.

This black water bottle cage was very easy to install on a Womens Schwinn Sierra bike. The aluminium cage is light and sturdy and has some spring tension to it. I tried three water bottles for fit. I have a 16oz Outdoor Products water bottle that did not fit circumference wise in the cage because the water bottle is too large or the cage is too small. Also a secondary problem was that the upper support bar on this bike interfered with access to this particular water bottle. I tried a 16oz throw away water bottle and the fit was very loose. The water might stay in the cage if the bike is ridden on a smooth surface, but any bumps could eject it from the cage. The last one I tried was a 20oz throw away bottle and the fit was good and held firmly. I thought it was well built for the price. Just needed to fit it with the right bottle.

This is a relatively simple product, but as far as I can tell, it's of good quality and will hold up for a long time. In my experience, the main problem with water bottle cages is either rusting or losing their 'grab' (being bent or otherwise losing their shape so they don't hold your bottles anymore). These are extremely lightweight (aluminum) but still thick and sturdy -- they have not changed shape one bit, but still have the flexibility to make placing/removing bottles a breeze on the go.Installation was a snap -- pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly with the factory holes on my bike's frame (Trek), just be sure you retain the screws that come with the bike (none included with cages). Didn't bother timing it, but there's absolutely no way it took more than 120 seconds (most of that time was spent cranking the Allen wrench). Also, because they are aluminum, rust/corrosion isn't a problem. I use them on a road bike as I don't trust the plastic cages many road-riders use (have a tendency to break them). My old cages were made of some sort of steel (or other heavy metal...), and these feel just as strong but much more lightweight. They fit my bike's finish well, and feel strong enough to last a lifetime. I will update if anything changes, but as of now, they seem to be excellent cages.
