I will admit that my husband put this frame and art piece together and hung it but according to him, it was all very easy. The end product is terrific. It's very clean and industrial looking. You absolutely cannot beat for the price.

I read reviews complaining about the install process, and about removing the protective film. Neither of these was an issue for me. For install, make a cardboard template with holes for where you want to drill, and tape it on the wall to determine placement. Use a level to make sure you have it level, then drill your holes through the hole in the template. If your drill doesn't have a level on it, make sure you're drilling level so the anchors aren't slanted. People who had trouble getting the display to fit probably didn't do this. Removing the film was easy. I put a warm damp dishcloth on one corner of the protective film, left it a few minutes, then used the edge of my fingernail to lift the corner. As long as you work slowly, you'll get the film off in one piece. Totally worth the effort in my opinion. Love these frames, and love that I can update the display in the future just by unscrewing 4 screws and exchanging the photo.

This is a great product as discribed, however there is no room instillation error. Here are some tips for instillation.1) “Measure twice cut once.” A general rule of building anything.2) The green plastic “stud” that goes into the dry wall isn’t long enough or have hooks on them to keep them in from being easily pulled out the wall. so when it goes into the dry wall and you try to screw a screw into it; the green piece loosens and slips out the wall and makes the hole bigger in the wall. I found a way around it. Mount the screw to the green plastic first (as seen in photo 1). Then insert into a drilled hole into dry wall.3) Another problem I found was that the holes between the back plexy glass and front don’t match up evenly so I had to make the holes bigger at the bottom of the frames.4) I strongly recommend drilling one hole at a time. Screw-on the metal pieces and line up glass. Then remove metal, and glass, then bore another hole. It takes longer but i found it to be best that way to avoid error.

Not too difficult to put up, I used them to display magazines on my wall and it worked great. Kept the magazines nice and they looked really good! Not hard to remove - the only hard part was the wall anchors but as long as you kept the little tabs nice you’ll be fine. For the price your definitely getting what you paid for.
