I’ve had it now for a year or two and love it! Good quality, easy to use, love the 10 trays so I can dehydrate a lot at one time. Dehydrates very well. Definitely worth the money.

I purchased the larger Cosori dehydrator. It has 10 shelves. I'm sure now that I didn't need one nearly this large but I'm happy with it. It works great. Very easy to operate. Runs very quietly. I was very surprised that it was this quiet. I sliced up and marinated about 6 lbs of London broil and I only used 5 of the 10 shelves. Hahaha. Very nice steel shelves. This machine is a little too large for my countertop so I keep it on top of my chest freezer. I have used it four times so far and I can't say anything bad about it. I love this machine. My jerky comes out perfect.
    Excelente producto! Estoy muy contento.

I got this for Christmas 2022 and love it. I would get this one again if I had to do it over. I originally had the large Excalibur but decided I didn't like all the plastic and the resulting flimsiness (damaged in shipping) so exchanged it for this one (the 10-tray) and like having the metal much better. Pros: 1) Very generous drying capacity, which comes in handy during harvest time. 2) Temperature control and range - I don't know that I will ever need down to the degree, but every 5 degrees is great, and I can do everything from delicate herbs to jerky if I want. 3) The air circulation system does seem to dehydrate better than the circular Oster model I was given just to see if I liked dehydrating. 4) The glass door is nice to keep a general eye on progress. Cons: 1) The trays are fairly close together, which may restrict airflow somewhat, so I start out loading every other tray but typically wind up using most or all of the trays. I also try to skip completely the top and bottom trays due to their proximity to the top and bottom of the interior. 2) It only came with one fruit roll sheet and one mesh tray - both hard plastic. The hard plastic fruit roll sheet is great to put under the lowest tray to catch drips and bits and pieces. I've never used the hard plastic mesh tray yet. I did order and love the flexible silicone mesh mats and fruit trays. The flexibility of these makes getting dehydrated foods off of them much easier, and they wash up fairly easily. 3) It certainly isn't cheap, especially after you add on the cost of buying the extra mesh and fruit roll sheets. I love this dehydrator, but it's a significant investment; I suggest if you are new to dehydrating, see if you can borrow or find a basic, small dehydrator to find out if dehydrating is useful and something you want to continue doing. I started out with a $40 Oster basic model without hardly any bells and whistles but was able to determine investing in a really nice dehydrator would be worthwhile for me. Things to consider generally: 1) This sucker takes up a LOT of room! It was way too big to fit on our kitchen countertop and under the upper cabinets with enough clearance for airflow, which is important. We wound up putting it on a large, sturdy stainless steel utility cart (and up on bricks to give clearance for the dehydrator door to open) I purchased years ago from Sam's Club for my office (I think it's still available). 2) It will put out some heat (welcome in the winter but not so much in the summer, lol, as we don't do air co) and doesn't run completely silent (but not bad). 3) Think about how much drying space you realistically need in a dehydrator. There's a 6-tray model that you should look at if you don't need quite as much. 4) You will probably need to condition whatever you dehydrate. It's a process, and you need to educate yourself on how to do this safely! 5) Think about other food preservation methods (e.g., water bath or pressure canning) and how long you need your food to stay good in storage and how you would use dehydrated foods 6) Join a FB dehydrating group or two for education, great tips, recipes, and community feeling. I have a favorite page that I rely heavily on. Happy dehydrating!

09-23-2023 A Quick Update:Due to stock shortage it took a bit long for Cosori to ship the replacement machine (the customer services did keep me informed about the delay.) I’m glad to report that the new machine has finally been delivered to me a couple of days ago. Yesterday I did the burn-in process at 165 F. Measurement with the oven bimetal thermometer at this setting showed that the new machine reached the desired temperature, and my instant read digital thermocouple probe meter showed the highest (instant) reading at 174 F, while the old machine barely reached 155 F at this setting. Because of this and the excellent support from Cosori customer services -the company really stands behind its product- I have changed my initial one-star rating to five-star. Will follow-up with a more detail testing at other temp settings.----------------------------*Original Review: “Actual temperatures were off by about 10 to almost 15 degrees Fahrenheit!”I got my 10-trays version dehydrator delivered from Amazon on July 10, 2023.I did the burn-in procedure, and then proceeded to test the machine at different temperature settings using two thermometers; a standard dial type oven thermometer and a digital probe thermometer. To my disappointment, the actual temperatures were consistently lower than the set temperatures by about 10 to almost 15 degrees F throughout the range from the lowest to the highest temperature settings. I emailed Cosori and got a reply from Chad the next day (bravo to the customer service’s prompt email response). Chad told me to reset the machine by holding the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, and then try using the machine again. I was able to get the dehydrator reset and it displayed the version number C226. I re-tested the machine afterward and found that the reset didn't actually fix the temperature inaccuracy problem. I know generally we could compensate for the inaccuracy by setting the temp either higher or lower to achieve the desired actual temp. In this case however there's no way to compensate if we need to dehydrate in the 155 to 165 range, because when the temperature was set at 165, the highest setting possible, the actual temp only reached 153-154.I emailed Chad at Cosori, along with pictures of the thermometer readings at different settings, to let him know that the problem still unfixed even after the machine was reset. Chad said that since it’s covered by the warranty, Cosori will provide me with a replacement. The next email from Chad informed me that he had submitted a request for a new dehydrator, sound encouraging! But the next day Chad emailed again saying that after checking with the warehouse, the item is currently out of stock and expecting them to be available again within the next month.I had high expectation for this dehydrator based on the high mark from Amazon customers’ reviews. Unfortunately I happened to get an outlier (!?) Now I have to wait for the replacement from Cosori. Chad submitted the request for a new replacement for me on August 1st and put me on the wait-list. Today is already August 15. Hope that the company will honor their promise and the new dehydrator will come soon. Will update of the situation.

Edit: Leaving the original review for integrity. Reached out to the company. They responded the following week, as I believe I initially reached out to them on a Friday. I sent them a short video of the issue, as seems to be common practice these days.About a week later, a replacement unit was on my porch. As I unboxed it, I became even more convinced that the first one was a return. There was more going on with the first one than I realized after seeing the difference in the second one. The replacement was well packaged, looks great and includes all of the documentation.Overall, I would say this has been an excellent experience. I do believe there was a mixup with the original unit. It happens. I could just as easily have the same experience at Best Buy. The company responded quickly and, in my opinion, appropriately. I'm currently ruining bacon. So far, I recommend this machine. It does appear to be a new model, though, so extra mesh pads and silicon mats for it don't seem to exist. I picked up some third-party and they're way too small. That's the only downside. As long as this one holds up, I'm very happy with the purchase.I'm glad I didn't go with the six rack. I recommend you don't. Once things are dehydrated, you really do lose a LOT of volume.Original Review: This thing came with no paperwork. There was no warranty information, no recipe book, no instructions. All of these things are available on the website, so no big deal I guess. However, when I opened the box, it seemed as though something had been dripped on the top of it. I've not yet attempted to clean it. Additionally, all of the trays were just loose inside the machine. I ran it through the obligatory first cycle and it seems to be working fine. I'll give it a more thorough look tomorrow, but I'm not convinced that this wasn't open-box or a return.I'll be putting it through its paces during the return period. If everything holds up, I'll update the rating. So far, I'm not super thrilled.EDIT 1: More convinced that this thing was a return. There appears to be a barely visible indentation in one of the top corners. That's not the concerning bit, however. The problem is that the racks (which all measure the same size) only fit in the top four slots. Lower than that they start falling out. They only go in one way, since they're wider than they are deep. I measured the interior width at the door, which appears to be accurate. As I'm looking at it from above, it appears that the sides are bowed out slightly. So the racks will not stay in place. Dropping to a one star, since 60% of the internal space is unusable. Will edit again after contacting the company.
