Update: Excalibur finally responded and said the light bulb wasn't under warranty (which I expected, even though it lasted for only a few seconds). What I wanted to know was how to access the light bulb to change it out. They said I would have to disassemble the dehydrator to access it and by doing that I would void the warranty. What in the world???!!!Overall I like the dehydrator. However, after the 2nd use, the light bulb either burner but or the switch doesn't work. I had only turned it on to inspect the produce, then right back off. I reached out to Excalibur and they needed a list of items from me - just short of my first born child. A 10 second minimum video has to be included. I provided all this information. Wanted to know what bulb and how to access it. SILENCE!!! Now I know this is a small thing, but this is a clear indication of what would happen if the problem were larger and it made my dehydrator useless. Perhaps I will get a Corsi if this one dies.Let me add, that the first one I ordered arrived with the glass falling out of the doors. I returned it to Amazon for a replacement. I know ow someone above in the comments said the racks were plastic. They are NOT plastic, they are metal.

This dehydrator has all the features I was looking for. Compact, glass double doors, quiet operation. I've been very pleased with the dehydrating I have done so far.

Yes, my dehydrator has a button which has a light bulb on it.. but there is t a light that I can see..Could you please reach out to me on this,

I’ve used a round stackable dehydrator for years and this was much easier and faster to use. No more rotating the trays to ensure even drying. Now I can control the time and temperature and with no hole in the middle of the tray I can dry much more at a time. I’ve done a few batches of jerky and it came out perfect. Easy to clean… easy to use… and it’s from the best name in the market of dehydrators. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes to dehydrate.

I was so excited to get this dehydrator. It came I plugged it in. Nothing. It would not come on. Sent it back. Received the 2nd one. It worked! But the door glass was loose and you had to wiggle it to close the door. I sent it back. Received the 3rd one. It was perfect. Despite the difficultly and disappointment I am really happy with this dehydrator. It is so roomy and I really see the difference in how it leaves the food

El día que llegó lo conecte y comienza a trabajar, no se ve la pantalla y los comandos táctiles no funcionan, no se puede poner temperatura, tiempo, de hecho no se puede apagar, en pocas palabras no sirve, el lunes tendré que enviarlo para devolución, adjuntaria video pero la verdad no lo grabé vi que no funcionaba lo empaque de bueno y solicite devolución
