Pump in my livewell went out and found a video online that these are pretty easy to swap out without having to replace the whole thing. Other than my hands being fat, I was able to maneuver in and with a quarter turn this thing came right out.. I unplugged it from the boat and was ready to install the new one.. The new one does not come with the plug adapter so either you can buy a new one, or just cut the old one off and wire to the new pump. A little bit of a hassle, but it is not plug and play, you will need to re-use the plug.. They sell solderless crimp thingies which make this easy.. New pump worked great once I was able to wiggle my fat hand again inside. Much easier than taking it in to the boat shop where I know they would have charged me a few hundy's..

An absolutely foolproof product lineup.New cartridge - 750 gph - replaces a 500 gph original pump. Minutes to install and works perfectly. I wish other manufacturers could be as thoughtful about product reliability and convenience.

Works great. Easy to install. Trimmed the wires to the length I needed and used marine splices to use the original connectors. I now need to get one as a spare.

Replacement for original that locked. So far so good.
