Very sturdy and has been working well since I got it weeks ago. Heat level is about what I expected and is not an issue. Takes about 45 minutes to heat up enough to start the process. YES, I recommend this.

The glass itself is tinted not the water or the wax. So it’s dull and not very vibrant. It’s a clean design and I love the metal gray base and the old schools chunky design. Takes longer than my other lamps to heat up as well.

It doesn’t flow at all. It will occasionally have one big bloop but never a steady flow. I’ve played with having it off and on for hours.

I love the colors of this lamp and like all of the official LAVA brand lamps (don't let those cheap knock offs fool you), the customer service team, color, shape, quality, and performance are great. I own several lamps depending on my mood or the room I want to enhance and this one is a great addition. It takes a bit for the wax to warm up the first time you use it, but then those globs really start moving. And if it gets too warm just make sure you are not running it for more than 12 hours at a time. We all need a rest- right?!

Love the matte base and loving how he looks next to my Aurora Borealis Lava Lamp! This is my first lamp with white wax, and I'm OBSESSED with the way the tricolor glass makes the wax look like it's changing color as it flows.I was a little nervous when the box arrived upside down, so I ended up calling the customer service #. The woman was super patient and told me not to worry, just get it set up and let it sit for 24 hours before turning it on. It was hard to wait but I am convinced it made a difference, because this lamp is BEAUTIFUL!
