Installed with an automatic pump and a separate float switch in a sailboat. Running an annual test, I noticed that the audible alarm no longer functions, blows the fuse, killing power to the pump that should be running to. Extremely dangerous.I suppose it's just shoddy workmanship.

I purchased this for my sailboat, mainly because of the benefit of a high-water alarm. I'm so glad I did! I was out in rough seas and was not aware that the boat was taking on water until the high-water alarm sounded. I highly recommend this product.

Seems fairly cheaply made. Wire size is very small for the connections as it is provided and easily slipped out of a properly crimped red heat shrink butt connector. I stripped more back and doubled the wired to get a good hold.The ground for the alarm siren was chaffed and had bare wire showing and had to be repaired.High water alarm acts up occasionally on test but automatic and manual bilge functioned correctly in testing.Don't think it will hold up for a long time but got my by for now until I get more expensive panels and high water alarm.
