I have 2 Quakers ,Nanday Conure and Indian Ring Neck. All sleep in their hammocks but one and they love them.In the winter I know they are snug in their beds. My Indian Ring Neck is afraid of them. I have one in her cage she goes all round the bed but won't go in. I am working on her.One Quaker will not soil her bed but the other one will.So I have scraps of fleece in his bed I fold it into quarters and I flip every night so he doesn't soil his bed.I have bought them for years now. All my birds are rescues and I want to make the rest of their lives very comfortable as I can.

This is a small & bigger than I thought it would be. My baby 7 week old Parakeet Bobby hasn't been in it yet or at least when I'm up. I got it so if he wanted he could get in it & have his little feet flat instead of constantly having them wrapped around a perch 24/7. I recommend this pup tent. Because of its size I ended up removing it from the cage & tossed it. My parakeets acted like they were afraid to go near it so I gave them their space back. If only a small was really a small. I bought their cage from Amazon & I orig purchased one baby Parakeet but thought he was lonely & went & adopted his brother but the cage is huge! I call it their "mansion w/a penthouse!!"

At first my parrotlet was uninterested in the tent. After a while she started sitting on top of it and hanging off the side (I know she's weird). Although she will sit inside of it off and on, she more often likes to sit on top of it. It is bigger than I thought so I don't think it offers the warmth I had hoped for. Overall she likes it and that is all that matters. The straps aren't super thick and can be chewed through but it will hold a small bird.
