About Umbra
Umbra is a global housewares product design company which is bringing thought and creativity to everyday items through original design.
It is a Toronto-based homeware design company born over 30 years ago when graphic designer, Paul Rowan, couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment window. So, he made one and people liked it. He soon teamed up with childhood friend, Les Mandelbaum, and Umbra (in Latin, 'shade') was born. Les and Paul began reimagining everyday items into modern ware.
Today, Umbra is recognized all over the world for bringing intelligent design to everyday items. An in-house team of international designers allows us to come up with original design that speaks universally and personally to a broad customer base. The journey that started in Toronto continues- Umbra designs can be found in over 120 countries.

te llega en una cajita, fácil de ensamblar, te llega justo igual que el de la foto, sirven muy bien para decorar! si lo recomiendo!

Las pinzas y los brazos están firmes y se notan de calidad. La altura también es buena para tenerla sobre un escritorio o mesa sin que sea molesto o estorboso el poder ver todas las fotos.La razón por la que le quito 1 estrella es porque los brazos son todos del mismo largo y cuesta acomodarlos sin deformarlos para que puedas tener fotos en todos y no se tapen unas con otras.

Es ist etwas teuer. Sieht aber hübsch aus und es passen viele Bilder dran. Habe ich im Büro stehen.Macht qualitativ einen guten Eindruck. Haltbarkeit, da er ja nur rumsteht, wohl hoffentlich sehr lang... ;-)

I first spotted this item at a craft show displaying hand made cards. I had to have one. Amazon had the best price which made the decision to buy two easy! It looks quirky, modern and is just the right size for sitting on a desktop or table. The chrome finish is excellent as are the clips which are nice and strong.

This is the coolest way to display photos; however, I use it to hold all my "things to do" notes, appointment cards, business cards. It is well worth the price as it's attractive, doesn't require much space, functional and the clips hold items firmly in place without each item getting tangled up with the others. It's such a smart product. What's really neat is that this holder is sturdy and strong enough that it doesn't tip or topple over! I'm buying two for my special neighbor who was so jealous and impressed by mine that I had to treat her to a gift to hold her photos and the other for her post-it reminder notes. This is a perfect gift for those who have everything as it's unique and looks expensive.

Gave this to our daughter as a birthday gift, as she left for college. It needs a fair space - fans out wide with all of the photos, but now she is surrounded by all of her loved ones. Cool idea, thanks.
