I have several wood squirrel feeders that have eteriorated rather quickly in the Florida weather. I wanted to try a metal feeder that was reasonably priced. It hasn't let me down yet, it even stood though hurricane force winds, granted I removed the umbrella. The squirrels bit off the plastic ends of the umbrella and I removed it, but the seating and eating area are intact.

So easy to put together. Very study, and perfect size for my outside critters. The umbrella is a cute addition and doesn’t scare the patrons when they visit. Great little garden addition for the money.

For the price it'a not horrible. The umbrella is installed in the weirdest way and I feel like I will it's not going to last very long. Also the instructions are a nightmare. I ended up having to adjust some things to make it work. Over all the the squirrels love it. I put peanuts and corn in it and woke up to the peanuts 100% gone and half the corn gone. It's a lot less messy then a bird feeder (I highly suggest a window cling one if u want to still feed the birds as well) over all not terrible

This is actually really cute. The umbrella is good quality and the metal is durable and holds weight. The instructions are horrible and the hardware doesn’t work. A glue gun is going to be your best friend. I pumped a ton of hot glue in to the opening of the umbrella and then inserted the yellow screw sleeve then pumped more hot glue in to the sleeve opening. Let it dry completely and then put the bolt and wing nut on the bottom. Worked like a charm and has been holding up so far. Cute and worth the money with a little modification. Squirrels love it!
